There was a time when my entire fashion philosophy was 'just add a vest'. I don't hold to this as much as I once did, but I do think my younger self was on to something. When you're feeling a little uninspired, or a dress or top needs a little something extra, adding a vest gives an instant facelift(dresslift?).
dress: ModCloth, vest: op shop, shoes: op shop, tights: who knows...
I also need a hair cut again. It's starting to creep below my shoulders and I'm not interested in having it longer than that for a while.
