I really love fiddling with and adding to my bedroom. It's like curating your own personal gallery. I added a hook where I can show off new purchases or old favourites and have been expanding my picture wall.

Dejour Jeans

I feel I can officially call myself a Melbourne blogger now I have my own pair of Dejour jeans. My friend and I ventured to Brunswick (the other side of the city for us) and fell in love as soon as we walked in the door.

I don't often wear jeans because I struggle to find the super high waist I like. Dejour have high waist a plenty and alter on the spot if the length or waist are a bit off. I also grabbed a pair of super high shorts that I struggled to find anywhere else.

While there we actually spotted Stealth from The Lumineers who I saw live with my sister later that night. They were indescribably amazing, hands down the best live act I've seen. I snagged this singlet from the merchandise stand.

Diamond Valley

This past Sunday we celebrated my cousin's fifth birthday at a park in Melbourne's North-East. We took a trip on the miniature railway that runs on Sunday's. It was actually ridiculously fun and the scenery was gorgeous.

I've been really slack with my goal of taking more photos this year. But every time I do dust of my camera and use it I remember just how much I love it. Especially when it means documenting special family occasions such as this.

The Australian sun is a force to be reckoned with when taking out fit photos. Especially when anxiety confines your photo taking to the backyard (do you like my modest veggie garden?). My word for this year is Adventure which includes endeavouring to seek out new and exciting places for outfit photos, as well as just seeking out the everyday adventure of life!

I found this dress along with a couple of other beauties at Savers at the start of the week. It's a perfect fit for the sunny weather we have in store and I only need to add chunky heels and put some effort into my hair to take it to a casual-night-out worthy look.

Do More

Merry Christmas, happy My Birthday and hello 2014! Yes, I turned the ripe old age of 22 on Boxing Day. Yes the day after Christmas is a fairly crummy time for a birthday but I don't know much different.

 The new year always feels a bit fresh and exciting and this year feels especially brimming with possibility as I start full time work as a nurse, plan on doing oodles of travel and will generally enjoy having money as opposed to living the not entirely glamorous student life.

 Resolutions seem a bit big and scary so I just have a few general aims that I've been meaning to do for a while anyway such as using my camera more, travelling more and exercising more. Mind you we're a week into the year and I've haven't picked up my camera once so don't hold your breath. I think I need a daily or weekly challenge to give me some structure.
