Tartan Hights

I bought these shorts on eBay for a song and I love them. I love the silhouette they give, I love how comfy they are and I think the pattern is fun. Reece hates them. This doesn't really phase me and I wore them to uni yesterday with great success. Sometimes it's nice not to worry about my dress creeping up under my backpack.

I realise this outfit toes the border in terms of clashing prints, but somehow it work in my eyes.

Oh, and it looks like I'm checking myself out in the first two photos, I need to get better at this sizing business.

Tall Story

I wore this earlier in the week. From what I recall it was quite hot. I believe some shopping occurred but my memory is fuzzy.

I've been living in my high waisted shorts this week. I'm contemplating buying a different pair but I'm worried summer will be over by the time I do.

Retro Chick

How do you combat a 34 degree day? Spend it in the air conditioned goodness of Ikea and Chadstone of course.

Reece and I headed into Ikea to by some desk organisation paraphernalia. Despite having a shelving unit snatched from under my nose we left in good spirits and headed to Chadstone to shop for clothes for Reece and maybe something for me too.

I wore this little baby I picked up at a local boutique. It has an amazing retro-glam feel and I got a compliment from a store assistant.

Later, Alligator

Just a few errands to run today, with weather that doesn't know if it's coming or going. I got this Lacoste jumper a while ago from savers. It's quite heavy so I found teaming it with shorts a happy medium. I seem to be unable to keep a straight face. I put it down to the wind.
