Endings

As a blogger, it's hard admitting the end of your relationship.

For one thing, you're putting it out to the whole world to examine if they wish. Your fans, and your critics, friends and strangers. It's worse than changing your relationship on facebook.

Secondly, the blogging world is such a couple-y place. Everywhere you look bloggers are getting married, are happily married, are buying houses and having babies. It's hard not to feel like a failure.

I don't want to talk about my break up, but I felt it's something I need to explain. Air it out rather than leave it for people to draw their own conclusions. Safe to say it is hard and sometimes it feels like I won't make it through. But I have amazing family and friends and if I'm as strong as they believe I am then maybe I'll survive.

New Coat

I don't like to pretend people hang on to my every word, but I am sorry for the unexpected break. I've had some personal upheaval and I haven't much felt like sharing my life with the world.

I have however, been meaning to share this coat I grabbed on sale from asos. It's been a while since I invested in a good new winter coat and this one is just about perfect.
